Week 44 ~ My Story in Photos: "Thanksfulness"

This week entry for I Heart Faces is not a contest but a story in Photos of everything that I am Thanksful for. First I would like to say Thank you god! for letting me see another day. Enjoy my story.

I am thankful for being able to do what I love, Photography

Davion~17 yrs ago my son came into my life. Was the cutes little boy ever and now the girls are telling him how cute he is. Soon to be an adult, 2010 :( I am thankful for him. Over the past 6yrs my son has been battling Crohns Disease.

Keala~ lmost 14 yrs ago on Christmas Eve I was blessed with a daughter. I can not imagine my life with out her. Even though sometime I want to strangle her she is a joy :) She makes me laugh all the time and i know when she gets older she will always want her mommy :)

My family~ There is nothing like family :)

My Friends~ always there for me when I need them

Halloween ~ Pumpkin Patch 2009

This Saturday I took my daughter, her friend and my mommy to the Pumpkin Patch in San Marcos, CA. We had a blast as you can see from the picture. As a photographer, as always, I am never in any of the pictures :(

Cassandra and baby

I really enjoyed doing this shoot for a good friend of mine, We tried a new park in Vista, CA and when I looked at the part prior to the shoot I thought I would not get a lot of good shots, but when I got home and started editng the pictures I was really happy with the outcome and so was my friend :)

I heart Faces ~ Pink Week

This week theme is "Pink" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My kids lost their Aunt Linda 2 years ago to Breast Cancer.

Lil N- photo shoot

When little N mom called me and asked me to take pictures of him I was thrilled. She wanted pictures that caught his personality and also pictures for his birthday. When I meet them on a Sunday i did not know how much energy he had, it was a challenge trying to get him to look at the camera or even stay in one spot for 5 seconds :) but i was able to catch the moments that he mother wanted.

Harts Wedding

This was my first wedding, I was scared when the bride called and asked me to take pictures of her wedding. Not having any experience in wedding photography I offered her other local photographer, but she was willing to give me the opportunity and I am glad they did. This is the nicest couple I have ever meet and their little girl is the cutes. The bride and groom made me feel welcome and their family and friends were so nice to me also. Thanks Hart family <3
